About Me!

A traditional Punch & Judy with lashings of sausages, slapstick, crocodiles, laughter and good old fashion family fun!

Professor Collywobbles

Philip Collins
After watching Jock Armitage perform Punch & Judy on the beach at Swanage in the late 1960s, I was transfixed, and wanted to perform my own show. 40 years on, I bought a complete Punch & Judy set-up from retiring puppeteer Pat Milton of Worcester and have been performing the show ever since.

During the summer season, you will find me at festivals, fetes, street parties and steam rallies. I also receive bookings for children’s parties and even christenings and weddings.

I also have a presentation entitled ‘The History of Punch & Judy’ which I take to schools, clubs and societies. This is suitable for all ages and is often  booked by Probus and Rotary clubs and Women’s Institutes. This is an hour’s long interactive show that tells the history of Mr Punch and how he arrived in England from Italy in 1662.
